Maintenance Tech
Job: Maintenance Tech
Classification: Non-exempt
Schedule: 10-hour days, Monday- Thursday. Overtime as assigned.
Job Summary: This position will provide regular upkeep of B & G Industries, Inc. keeping the facility operating and repairing a wide range of repair tasks.
Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance around the building to prevent issues. Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage. Works on damaged electrical wiring so no shortages occur. Maintain the building HVAC system to keep the facility functioning properly. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Skills: Must have plumbing, electrical and carpentry repair knowledge. Attention to detail to ensure all maintenance jobs are completed. Must have interpersonal skills to interact with employees.
Physical requirements: Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active with different tasks. May have to lift up-to 50 lbs.
