Night Powder Coat Painter

Job: Powder Coat Painter - FT Nights

Classification: Non-exempt

Schedule: 10-hour shift, Monday-Thursday. Overtime as assigned. 4:00 pm to 2:30 am. $2,500 sign on bonus plus $3.00 differential.

Job Summary: A Powder Coat Painter will powder coat paint a variety of surfaces including, Steel, Aluminum, and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified. Looking for someone with experience to fill this position.

Responsibilities: you will be responsible for making sure the metal for the powder application is prepared correctly before powder is applied.

Skills: Knowledge of oven and wash bay procedures, maintenance and operations. Report problems with quality to supervisor. A good eye for quality issues. Able to change nozzles within the wash system, dump and refill stages as needed. Cleaning knowledge to keep area clean and tidy. Preforms all other duties as required.

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be self-motivated. Must have excellent communication skills and attention to detail and quality. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
